Mia Roseberry

Executive Director & Co-Founder

Mia has a background in Special Education with emphasis in Moderate to Severe Disabilities. Additionally she has further education and certificates in non-profit management and planned giving, interpersonal communications for fundraising and developing major gifts. She is also the co-owner of a house inspection service with her husband, Steve Roseberry.

Mia is active in the community as a member of the San Diego Veterans Coalition, San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC), and various local Chambers of Commerce. She is a 4th generation descendant of U.S. Marines. She previously worked as an Emergency Medical Technician and retired after years as a special education teacher.

The survivor of a childhood automobile accident that left her with permanent hearing loss, she understands first-hand about the effects of mild Traumatic Brain Injury and the effort that it takes to return to a normal life. Mia has been a non-voting member of the Board of Directors since the inception of Wounded Warrior Homes.
